Early Childhood Education Diploma Program overview:
Working closely with instructors and in groups, students develop their understanding of child development, guiding techniques, and play-based curriculum, including art, music, literature, and science, while learning to create and implement meaningful, age-appropriate, culturally diverse and inclusive programming for children.
Work practicum opportunities throughout the Early Childhood Education Diploma Program allow students to apply these lessons in various childcare settings (pre-schools, nursery schools, Head-start programs, as well as other child and family resource facilities) and master their skills working with children.
*This program is provincially accredited by the Child Care Qualifications and Training Committee (CCQTC) as meeting the qualifications for Early Childhood Educator Level II designation.
